I want to try this, it’s an at-home whitening kit and it claims to whiten teeth 5 shades on average. You rinse with the mouthwash, paint on the gel, and activate it with the blue light and keep repeating those steps for an hour. And it’s only $40. Too good to be true?

Benzoyl peroxide&Baking soda make a paste out of it and leave it on for 20 mintues.Works great,you may have to do it more then once.

Has anyone tried this product? Is it worth the $40? Is the light necessary or can you just use the refill pack?

NO I haven’t tried it, but I will tell you how to get your teeth 6-7 shades lighter in 20 minutes for FREE if you have these household items. I would NOT pay $40. This works better than any teeth whitener I’ve ever bought, and trust me, I’m a smoker, I’ve tried it all. Here’s the best way and it’s free. DO NOT take advantage of "free trials". They are scams costing consumers hundreds of dollars. (Read my recent posted questions for more info) Ok, I’m a smoker and heavy coffee drinker. Here’s how to do it for free. Get 2 teaspoons baking soade and 2 teaspoons hydrogen peroxide (I put a little more baking soda in to make the paste thicker). Mix together. Brush this mixture on your teeth. Leave on 15-20 minutes. I kept my mouth open and showed my teeth, so maybe it helped. It may sting a bit. It’s ok. Also it may turn gumms a little white, which is ok and TEMPORARY. Only like for 2 days, and your gums may also be sensitive for 2 days. This will happen if you have gingivitis like I do. After 15-20 minutes, brush teeth with regular toothpaste to get peroxide out. There you go. It’ll be like about 6 shades whiter in 20 minutes. You can do this once a week. To maintain this white smile, mix equal parts of the hydrogen peroxide you have with water to make a PRE brushing whitening rinse. It works great! Just be sure to always brush your teeth afterwards to get peroxide out and NEVER SWALLOW these mixes! TOTAL COST: FREE if you already have these household items. If not it’s about $3-4 TOTAL dollars and get both of these at any grocery store including walmart. Get hydrogen peroxide next to rubbing alcohol, and get baking soda in the baking section!

UPDATE: Yes it can be harmful if used too often. That’s why I suggested to only do this once a week tops. Also, the fact is, almost all tooth whiteners (if they work) contain peroxide. It is necessary to whiten teeth unless you spend lots of money and go to the dentist.

I drink coffee regularly so I need to bleach my teeth. I am thinking of using zoom one-hour in office teeth whitening. Have anyone tried it before? If so, how’s the effect? The teeth just whiten in one hour? Lastly, how much does it cost for you? Thanks.

I wouldn’t reccomend it…. I think it damages the enamel.
